Crook & Associates

Crook & Associates was founded in 1993 by Stephen Crook. We are a b2b lead generation company. Our management team has over 50 years of combined experience in planning and executing successful, cost effective telemarketing campaigns and on-going lead generation/marketing efforts. We have 30 calling stations and a team of experienced agents who become an extension of your organization. We provide our customers with unparalleled b2b telemarketing and services that support our programs.

 

Prior to founding Crook & Associates, Steve Crook Sr. worked for 26 years in new business sales. After procuring telemarketing services for many lead generation campaigns with varying degrees of success. Steve realized salespeople are hungry for highly qualified new business leads. He started Crook & Associates as a side business out of his home in 1993 and quickly gained momentum. In 1995 Crook & Associates moved to its current location in Palos Hills, IL (a suburb located 20 minutes outside of Chicago). 

We offer our clients flexibility – no long-term contract, no monthly minimum. We want to keep earning our relationship as we go. At Crook & Associates we truly partner with our clients and become a powerful lead generation extension of their company… as long as it provides ROI.

OUR TEAM

Stephen Crook Sr. - President/Founder

Steve Crook, Sr. received his degree in marketing from the University of Illinois in 1967. He spent 20 very successful years at IBM as a salesman, sales and marketing trainer, sales and marketing consultant and sales manager. Steve also served for six years as Vice President of Marketing for XL/Datacomp. 

While at IBM, Steve gained invaluable experience in implementing lead generation and database strategies that produced highly qualified sales leads. He used this experience to implement innovative and very successful lead generation techniques at XL/Datacomp. These lead generation techniques helped XL/Datacomp increase sales revenues from $80 million to over $400 million in less than 6 years. His new business lead generation experience at IBM and XL/Datacomp have been used to develop the powerful lead generation infrastructure called the Prospect Intelligence Center™ (PIC). 

Since 1993, Steve has been CEO/President of Crook & Associates, a new business lead generation company. 

Steve is a frequent lecturer at Northern Illinois University's Department of Marketing and a member of NIU’s Sales Advisory Board.

Steve & Jeff Crook will work with you throughout the entirety of your campaign.

Jeff Crook began working with Crook & Associates in 1994 as a caller. As the business grew, his efforts moved towards database research and management, where he continues to play a large role. Jeff became Vice President of Operations in 1999. He has and continues to work in every facet of Crook & Associates, giving him a unique perspective into what drives the success of our lead generation campaigns. Jeff works closely with our calling and database team to ensure we deliver the highest level of quality to our clients. 

Teleintelligence

 

Our callers are so superior to typical telemarketers that we don't call our services telemarketing, we call it Teleintelligence. Through our extensive training, our callers have achieved the highest level of expertise utilizing a communication skill set that facilitates reaching key contacts in a variety of industries.

All members of our TeleIntelligence staff work out of our location. This is done so that we can constantly monitor the quality of conversations taking place on behalf of our clients.

We have very low turnover. Our callers will stick with your account and familiarize themselves with your company. You will not be getting the "caller of the day." This allows us to discuss the progress of each client with our staff on a regular basis.
